Troubleshooting
Antivirus False Positives
Problem: Your security software blocks the download or installation.
Solution: CrystalDiskInfo requires low-level hardware access to read drive health data, which some heuristic scanners mistake for suspicious activity. If you downloaded from this official site, the file is safe. You can verify the digital signature or add an exclusion to your antivirus.
Drive Not Detected
Problem: One or more of your connected drives do not appear in the list.
Try these steps:
- Restart CrystalDiskInfo as Administrator.
- Go to Function > Advanced Feature > Enable Advanced Disk Search.
- Note: Some proprietary RAID controllers hide physical drive data from standard software.
